The King did not want to discourage the shorter man any, so he kept that thought to himself. As it was, it was entirely possible that the dog mutt was wrong in assuming that was what would happen. He was generally very humble, and he knew not to speak of things he did not understand. Sailing just so happened to be one of those things that he thought it was safer to not attempt to discuss. A number of the pack's members had arrived by ship or vessel, he knew, so there would be others here that could help him locate his ship if it were even possible.

Your trespassing is forgiven," he added, "as it is not your fault. You cannot control the ocean." The dignified King did not know if Charles would wish to take up residence in the Miracles pack, but the offer was made in the case that he would. If the ship were to return, as well, it was possible that it would return to the place it had been originally lost. Even if the ship was never found, a new member for the pack would be welcomed with ease, he was sure.
