Anann herself hardly felt the changes that had been brought about by the disappearance of the collie king. She wondered if his last acted had been accepting her into his pack? She had not seen or scent the man much after the night she had sought him out looking to join his kingdom. What a wasted effort it had become. she had wanted to know her king before agreeing to serve him and now she found herself following a man she had yet to meet. While the events were no trouble to Anann, it was Heath's world that had been turned upside down. Or more his mate's worlds and in turn effecting his own. So things as they were Anann now found herself in charge of taking care of the stables in Heath's absence. He was needed at home for the time being, far worse that he was needed at the stables.
She had been helping out around the stables since she first become a part of the Miracles pack. By now she knew her way around quite well and had become familiar with the horses in the stables. Anann had spent most of the late morning mucking out the stalls. She always started with the stalls of the horses that had no particular owner. Hoping that if anyone came for their own horse they would clean the stall themselves. Eventually Anann made it around to the claimed horses. The others she simply shuffled around from one clean stall to the next, not worrying if they were put back where they had come from. The claimed horses she always made sure to put them back in their original stalls, not wanting to confuse those that would come looking for them.
Easy boy, that's a good boy, Drogon. Anann cooed at the dark bay mustang as she slid the halter over his nose. Leading him out of the stall. Since no one else seemed to be in the stables and working with the horses, Anann simply tied the stallion the outside of his stall while she worked on the inside. She made small talk with the horses as she worked even though she got little back in reply. Just a turn of the ear or a raise of the brow.
