He still had some healing to go, but for the most part the process was completed. The deepest cuts were still a little scabbed, but the fresh scars could be seen where the scabs had flaked off. He supposed he certainly looked like a warrior now. Jade eyes looked at himself in the mirror of the room, his fingers running lightly over the marks that ran across his upper body. The jacket hid the bite mark on his shoulder, but the rest could be plainly seen. The Knight flexed his right arm. There was still a tightness in the muscle where the brute had latched onto his forearm, the damaged skin stretching and straining with the effort. Haven huffed a sigh, he would still have to wait a little longer before he could pick up the blade again and practice. It had been a long while, and it made him restless, but there was no helping it. He knew better than to push his body beyond its limits.

Deciding that spending some time with Drogon would help to ease his impatience he left his house and made out for the stables. The Aatte had made sure to pick a home that wasn't a long walk from the building that housed the pack's horses, and so he was there in no time, knowing the route by heart. Usually he expected to see Heath around somewhere, but he wasn't thinking he would see his friend today. Ruri would need him at home after that bastard former King of theirs had taken off. Thinking of Jacquez made Haven tense and angry, so he quickly pushed such thoughts from his mind. He was coming here to relax, not to get worked up.

The ochre colored man entered the stables, the smell of horse and hay comforting. Surprisingly, Drogon was tied up outside of his stall and one brow rose in curiosity. Was Heath here after all? There weren't many that the stallion let handle him without a fuss. The scent he caught was unfamiliar however. Haven put a hand on the mustang's flank and Drogon turned to nibble at the collar of his jacket. The Knight peered into the stall to see a tall golden woman cleaning it out. "Hello?" He didn't think he'd ever met or seen this female before, but she seemed to know his steed well enough.
