Where did she start to look? Her cerulean eyes narrowed as she watched the scrubs sway under the gentle breeze. Large paws consumed the ground underneath her as she moved with an acquired grace. Her eloquence was nurtured; she would never have been so smooth if nature had had it her way. Best was her ignorance to her illness. Night Thames could feel everything that touched her, but never pain that was inflicted on her body. The blood that meandered down her rave pelt was only the first for the day.
Azure eyes looked dully on the terrain she was familiar with. When the war had started not so long ago she had found herself wondering farther then she had ever imagined. It wasn’t forgetfulness that led her away from Dahlia De Mai, it was the need to feel the warmth and to find more than she could ever find cooped up in one place.
Sitting back on her haunches, her black pelt shimmered in the suns morning light, clean of any red crust. Night had learned quickly that she had to bath in streams everyday to remove the blood from her pelt. Vanity wasn’t something she thought of often, but cleanliness was something she prided herself in. At eight months she had grown to almost four times the size she had been when she had left. Yet not much else had changed about Night Thames.
