He saw his sister come up, raising an eyebrow he wondered what kind of mischief she’d gotten into. Well she was in one piece and not bloody so it wasn’t too much trouble he supposed. He ought to be happy she could at least go somewhere without him and not get hurt, it was a relieving thought. He saw she had a book in her hands and figured she’d either found the library, or found an abandoned home… he suspected a home or something because she’d still be at the library if she really knew where it was. As she was plainly happy to see him, he wondered what she really had in mind for him today. He eyed her, and looked at her books again, he was actually proud to be her brother, and any wolf would have to go through him to get her, he loved his sister, no matter how annoying she could be.
It’s time for some change besides I checked my trap today, not much more to do than wait and hope I get a bird tomorrow.
He did his usual egg rubbing when he started talking, he only noticed that when it made people actually notice what he was doing and question him about the egg, it seemed like a habit, he wondered what would happen after the chick was born the poor thing would be bald if he continued this kind of thing.
What are you doing out and about?
Pretty much knowing the answer itself. She was not always a stick in the mud who stayed in her room all the time…just most of the time. He knew there were times where she wanted to get out and move around, particularly if she didn’t have some kind of story to read, but especially if she wanted to chase a particular story. He wondered if she’d gone chasing after another story, but he didn’t question it, he would find out sooner or later.
