There wasn't much more that Ghita's soul could take. This was the first time that Ghita allowed herself to break down, and it wasn't nearly as relieving as she'd hoped it would be. It just felt... weird, to be baring herself in this way - even to her sister. It wasn't lifting any heavy load, just doubling it and putting it onto Savina's shoulders, which wasn't helping anyone. She was acting like an over-emotional teenager, unable to deal with her own grievances.

Looking away from her sister was the easy thing to do - staring into the emerald optics of her sister, a memory pricked at the back of her skull - one where the roles were reversed. With Ehno's departure and the news that crashed around them, Savina had been the one to comfort, not Ghita. The Marino faes had never been extremely close until now - where the conditions had changed and the tables turned. The timber fae had finally found a place somewhere where she was worth something, where she could stop running from the past that nipped at her heels.

And that safety net was threatening to give out and away. Her words were scaring her sister, she knew - they were scaring her. But with the simple destruction of her leg came with the destruction of her usefulness - of her place in the pack - her pride. Independent from the start, Ghita was never one to need a leg up at all - always able and more than happy to take life by the horns and run with it. But now she couldn't even walk without relying on a stick to support her. She was broken, literally and figuratively, and it didn't seem like she'd recover soon.

With her next words, she could sense the change in Savina's demeanor immediately. Startling at the fury suddenly apparent in her sister's face, her first instinct was to flick her ears defensively, the silver-tipped tents leaning back ever so slightly as the Marino's fire coursed through the veins. She was an unpredictable land mine, it seemed, but Savina's words stopped her in her tracks, jaw slackening slightly, and ears perking up again. What Savina said was true - she had charged into that barn blinded by love and fear, but to what end? Nothing had come from it - in fact, she'd put more wolves that she loved in danger as a result.

"Come puoi dire questo? Non ho il suo aiuto - ho peggiorato le cose per noi. Se non fosse stato per Jazper, sarei andato. I complicato le cose per Ehno. Ti ho fallito, e non sono riuscito Cambi."

XD Ha. Bad posts happen all the time. But thank you.
