And i'm sorry for taking even longer, lol. XD;; wc:442

Their familiar dance continued, words clashing against words like sword upon sword. One could almost hear the clang of steel in the heated, tense moments between each verbal strike, and the sparks of this conflict only served to further kindle the flames of the siblings’ growing anger. To any outside perspective witnessing this spat between siblings, it would seem like quite a wonder for the two Marinos to calm themselves and forgive each other after such a fight. By now it was simply the ebb and flow of their relationship; it was their age-old formula drafted up in childhood now being perfected by them as adults.

There was Ghita’s hot-headed response, barely masking the flash of her teeth. He was nearly taken aback by her words, the way she almost seemed to label him as a villain as if he was simply blowing this out of proportion to take a stab at her pride. Of course she probably knew he was only bringing this up with her best interests in mind, but she would never acknowledge it as such. She refused to even concede that point of understanding, and it was a source of constant frustration to Ehno, especially during a heated quarrel such as this. “I’m not—”

Ehno clipped his defense short with a frustrated shake of his head when Ghita stubbornly turned away from him. He sighed in frustration as she tried to further convince him that she was fine, biting back the retort he was instinctually ready to launch. It wasn’t for the love of the argument, but out of his concern for her well-being. Maybe right now fighting wasn’t the answer. Their usual bickering would often take a toll on each of them, and that hardly seemed like the best way to promote Ghita’s overall well being during such a time of great stress.

He ran a hand through his chocolate mane and tried to curb his agitation. It was a daunting task at times when this fiery side of him seldom showed itself, and the flickering flames of his anger weren’t so eager to be quickly extinguished. He was tiring of this conversation already, and if the quickest way for them to move on from it was for him to throw this little bickering match, fine. If this was how she wanted to play this right now, he would follow along. “Fine, Ghita. You’re fine. There was a touch of a frustrating sigh of resignation punctuating his words and it was the only outward sign of his disapproval in the outcome of this encounter. And how easy it would be for her to see through it.
