Exposing just how vulnerable and frightened she felt was new to Ghita - a feeling she didn't want to have to experience too often. She knew without looking, although her turquoise orbs met her sibling's ambers, that surprise bubbled in the depths, and felt as if they were a mirror of her own self. It wasn't every day that Ghita stepped up to the plate and admitted that she was in the wrong, especially in an argument with Ehno. It only went to show the gravity of the true situation at hand.

As if someone had thrown the sea onto the open flames, the anger between the two siblings, which had raged like a bonfire, creating a hideous divide between them, had been snuffed out, the oxygen and the desire to never back down suddenly disappearing. However, relief prickled at the back of her neck like dewdrops in springtime, and an immense load was lifted from her frame, now that she wasn't alone in her vulnerability.

Meeting her sibling's gaze was easier than she'd imagined at first, and she held onto it, trying to communicate just what she'd really been trying to say the whole conversation. And, at the same time, trying to understand just what Ehno had been trying to speak to her as well. All the same, she relished the comfort that his muzzle brought, and couldn't help a small smile from escaping onto her lips, and a harsh, unhappy laugh from springing from her lungs. "'Fiery' seems to be just about right."

Seeking out her brother one more time, she extended her arm, reaching with ivory fingers to find his own hand, grabbing it softly in her own. She couldn't be sure whether it was simply her imagination or not, but something in her heart told her that perhaps, just maybe it'd be easier between her and her brother going forward, now that she had taken the first step in changing the very dance they'd insisted on since childhood.
