I was hoping nobody had replied here yet!! 8D

If everyone cared and nobody cried.

It was a glorious day, and Bris was out doing what she could normally be found doing on days such as this. The sounds of things being scraped along wooden floors, of glass cases still intact being carefully opened, of things being sifted through along the floors, all echoed along the streets of Wolfville from a decidedly large old jewelry shop on one of the main streets of town. It had been a shop of some great reputation in its functioning years, even up to the day the virus broke out among the humans without prejudice. Riots broke out, as they often did amidst fear and chaos. Windows were shattered and anything not locked securely was either destroyed or carried away in some pointless display of greed. But there were some treasures yet left untouched.

Some of the locks had held decently on the more expensively adornments in a room forgotten about by looters. Shelves of beautifully intricate designs neatly displayed behind thick glass stared back from their protective prisons. Bris had discovered a room like this in several different jewelry shops she'd searched, and she'd tried desperately to figure out a way to destroy the locks without damaging the glass cases. If she could keep those intact, they may prove useful for storing her collection or showing off some of her prize pieces of her own design. Unfortunately, nothing the girl had tried was fruitful, and she'd resigned herself to having to get to the shiny new treasures by force.

Sighing softly, the snowy werewolf placed her dark leather satchel on the ground a few feet away, her mismatched eyes scanning the rooms for any large piece of cloth she could find. Her hands were still wrapped in bandages to protect the wounds that sliced her palms, but she'd need something thicker to prevent any new cuts from the glass she was about to shatter. The Stormbringer had learned months ago the hard way that shattering glass with one's bare paw-hand was simply stupid. The cuts she'd suffered then hadn't been serious at all, but they were numerous and shallow and itched and stung like mad. This time she'd be smart about it. After a moment, Bris found exactly what she was searching for in a mostly intact hand towel in what had once been a fairly nice little employee restroom. Wrapping its remains around her right hand, the young luperci strode back into the jewelry storage room, pulled back her fist, and slammed it through the largest of the five cases.

If everyone loved and nobody lied.
