let the rain fall down

She watched, satisfied and grateful, as the male accepted her offer and decided to settle onto the ground beneath the tree. Though the canopy overhead did much to stop the rain, it still managed to leak through and drizzle over them in a soft drip. She didn’t mind that he had decided not to share the makeshift blanket with her as she wrapped it again around her frame. "I suppose I did too," she admitted, though she really hadn’t had much choice in the first place. Clover needed to follow the trail she had been given and if she strayed for too long, the scent would surely fade away into nothing.

"Clover Love," she introduced herself, leaving behind her surname as well. However, she wasn’t quite aware of what reputation the name carried and merely let it slip away because those in Juniper Peace had not called her by that. Instead, she allowed her middle name to seemingly take the place of her last, though she meant not to deceive; the girl simply just liked the name best. "Do you live near here, Conor?" If so, perhaps some sort of clan such as Juniper Peace was close by and Clover could press for more information about her siblings. That, of course, was all just being hopeful.
