He had thought that these two would help him find his Daddy, because he had gotten so lost and turned around, but it turned out that they wanted him to stay there too! He didn't know what to think of this at first. Was it good for him to stay here and wait for Daddy to come find him instead? He was so, so hungry...Daddy could find his own food and get it, but Gideon was too little. That decided the pup. That and the angry scratches that burned as he got up and stood beside the ghost-wolf Bris.
When Conor spoke to him he shrank back against Bris' leg, but brightened when he heard that Bris was coming with them. She then told him that she was his aunt! His Daddy's sister! This made him very pleased indeed...his tail wagged back and forth where he stood, forgetting his feelings about the alpha for a few moments. He nodded when Bris told him that they were going to get rid of his boo-boo's, shaking his fur out again and preparing to follow the two adults.
