The bird didn’t stop, it kept flapping and struggling to get free… maybe it was because the whole blanket was entirely around the bird, he’d have to change that really quick if he could. Before he could decide how to actually do it he heard a sweet voice, another Russian accent, he’d heard so many these days, he was getting use to it.

Russo? No never mind, you don’t mind stepping on this blanket, I need to get it so this bird isn’t struggling so hard..

She seemed a right enough build to keep a hold of the bird even if she had to sit on it, he wasn’t embarrassed by actually asking a total stranger, as far as he knew all Russo… or at least Russians seemed to be great wolves and for now he needed the help before the introductions came. He was about to lose his grip even with the leather gloves on, until he put the scrunched up blanket on the ground and held it with one of his hind paws. He smiled.

My first catch, and I hope to keep it alive, and from getting free too.

He said, he was thinking about telling her he’d caught a bird but since that was a thought he figured he’d said it out loud and she understood the situation. Of course he was wrong once again. He looked at her with green pleading eyes, hoping she would help him. The bird continued to flap its wings and started tearing at the blanket, he heard a small rip in it, and hoped he had time to get things situated. If he could get the bird to stop struggling he would surely be able to carry it to the barn, but if it continued to he would have to ask for more help. Which of course he was always willing to return the favor with a repair or his other new hobby leather working, although he wasn’t as good as most of the wolves around here.
