The grayish black hybrid could not shake those art images out of her head and she wanted to try them. She wanted to know how to do those. Already her mind would trace the outlines of creatures, and landscapes when viewing them, already her mind would take in every inch of detail in the bark of a tree, the fur of another, the features and emotions that would be displayed in ones eyes. Maybe, just maybe she could capture those on paper, just like those artists did in those paintings. Curiosity fueled her search and she went about Halifax finding the tools she needed. Already she had the paper, the pencils, though she wasn't sure which ones she wanted to use, and after much decision making thought that maybe the mechanical pencils, they seemed convenient to her. However, they weren't quite the right tool but she didn't know that, and most likely would not care in the long run.
Walking down the street, she noticed the large concrete and stone building that was the library. Her blue hued eyes stared at the large structure for a moment and remembered the time her father had her look at books, as a reference. Perhaps there were guides and references to drawing. A small smile played upon her lips as she thought thoroughly through the decision. Step by step she walked up the large stairway and into the large doors of the library. They made a loud creaking noise as she opened the doors, her eyes took in the amount of dust that seemed to have collected on the tables and shelves, nothing different than the other buildings, but she took more notice in it. Maybe it was the large atmosphere that made her notice it more. Continuing to walk through the doorway, she let go of the door making it slam shut and dust to fly. The loud noise made her jump and look back, luckily, she didn't drop anything. Her eyes took in the place with wonderment, blinking as she tried to figure out where the best place to start would be....So many books...
