Life held many joys, so many that it was impossible for one to posses and experience them all. She had never known that this would be one of hers, that she could know what it was to be a creator, such as the Sun she worshiped could be. He did not plant the seeds, and neither did she, but the orb nurtured and gave the warmth and food that they needed. A joy that had once been beyond her reach.
His reply was what Anu had hope and even expected, feeling as if Kansas would also enjoy the shade of the great fruit tree, and believing that she would enjoy her company as much as she did his. Her thoughts lingered so heavily on herself, her unborn pups that Anu thought it selfish. She couldn’t help it, her heart so enthralled and consumed by it. It made her wish that if her litter were to know their father, he would be as kind to them as Kansas was to his own. Anu did not question Gabriel, not without an uneasy strain on her heart. He would, she believed, give them a form of love.
His approach was as docile as ever, and tugged at the instinctual dominance that lay in the workings of her anatomy. They were small fibers and only pushed her ears forward slightly in response to his submission. But as quickly as it passed over her it was gone again, and her features turned soft once more.
Anu would be ignorant to believe that Savina had not bestowed Anu’s news on her mate, and she was more then pleased to allow the world to know it. Well, I suppose. The words came with a smile, Its odd to be so tired. She admitted. Her tail waved behind her, eyes glimmering as she gave her own question. Artemis still being a handful? A bit of a coy smile crossed her face, knowing that the little girl would be mischievous while a youth, at the very least.
