Darkness flooded and wiped out the sprouting colours that belonged to this world’s spring. This was a poor world, and she could not understand the supposed beauty of wilderness. In Doragon no Toshi the sakuras would be weeping pink petals by now. Her room had faced an own little garden, and the blushing spring trees would cover the rich grass floor with beautiful, lush colours. Here there were no gardens, no walls protecting her from the feral beasts. The Princess was no longer scared of the dark, but every evening when the sun retired she turned uneasy. This woman had lived a protected life, and had been met by horror every day since she had started to follow the ivory Ukete’s dream. They were two travellers today, but once they had been several. Tanin had appeared in various forms to steal them away. It usually happened after dark.

Large, pied audits fell against the royal canine’s fiery skull when a canine appeared before her. For a moment she saw Tanin in the other—believed the unknown dragon had come to take her home to Tianlong. Daenys was a fool, a fool for believing for a moment that her almighty’s mate would have taken such an unworthy form. No, this was a child touched by Tanin’s darkness, but no more. Vivid pink glared at the English speaking woman with traces of surprise still, but her mind worked swiftly. It was not unusual for locals to draw to her. Their intentions varied and the dragon’s daughter had learned well from those experiences. There had never been a question about the difficulty of her quest. The stranger canine before her was very rude, but Daenys’ ways were not hers, and so, the Princess reluctantly forgave her for her ignorance.

"私はの未知数のの娘挨拶する," the royal woman spoke softly as she bowed her muzzle to the jet dark woman before her. The servant remained behind with its head lowered and eyes to the dirty forest floor. Daenys paid no attention to it; let all her celestial focus flow to the local canine. ”I am Sgiathatch Daenys, if you please..” the western language was light and gentle spoken. It was the lack of accent in it that so vividly revealed that she belonged to an almost impossible foreign land. The woman was, as many before her, fascinated by the Priestess’ blessed fur, and that revealed more to the foreigner about these lands than she could possibly know. The blood she desired would not be here. ”Yasei no musume, these lands be home to you?” the royal woman asked kindly, noting the spiral symbol that had been cut into the stranger’s shoulder.
