Gray Lines on a Wall

Sorry for keeping you waiting q_q

She had heard noises, but most prominent of all, she had detected a smell that did not belong. It seemed that her strange stomach illness had passed, as the few latest days had gone by without the unpleasant scenes where her body refused to keep the food down. She had kept to herself to avoid spreading a possible infection, and so today she felt strangely social. Her strange friendship with Silas was still speckled with uncertainty, but she knew that she would feel better if she could stare at that well designed face of his for a moment or two. Then, she had become side tracked, and the scent of pack wolf had wiped any pleasant emotion that had resided within her ruby orbs. With her sharp edged companion strapped on her back, she stalked the hallways without a sound, avoiding certain, invisible spots on the floor where she knew weight would cause the wood to crack wearily.

Voices were easy to recognize by now, though her mind somehow managed to remain relatively blank until she forcefully pushed the door to the male’s room open and beheld a scene that she was quick to misinterpret. Lit candles, the scent of paint, and the male and the female, together! And worse, this was a large, bulky wolf. IN INFERNI. IN SILAS’ ROOM. Ears slammed against her copper hair, and she could feel electric currents dance along her skin and fur. Surprise mingled with the strangest sensation of hurt. He was not hers, he never had been, but never had jealousy flared within her this way. Out of all the females he could have chosen, he even chose this ugly motherfucking bitch.

She had sincerely believed he had liked her, but now everything lay shattered on the floor and she hated him more than she had ever hated Samael. She turned abruptly from the horrendous sight and started to walk away, her pace slightly hurried, but unexpectedly calm. How strange, because she was anything but calm. She targeted the door leading to her room, the sanctuary that it was essential for her to reach.
