The stigma surrounding the Inferni group were making the current situation difficult for Mati to manage. There was anxiety that came to her now. The male had spoken his packmate's name so softly that Mati could hardly figure what it was, but she remained silent and watched the other female closely. She was intense, her emotions falling and then suddenly rising as the Dreamer approached them. Unsure and uneasy came to her but Mati didn't feel the need to leave immediately, because... what about the mural? It felt unnatural for the artist to simply walk away from an assignment, and so leaving instantly was not the first thing to cross her thoughts. She stood a step behind Silas, knowing that stepping forward or heaven forbid between them would be walking into tension that she would rather not dive too deeply into.
When the coyote female reached to her side, Mati didn't notice. But the glimmer of something bright directed her eyes to the sword and instinctively she took a step backwards. Silas was instantly in front of the crazed woman, and Mati held her hand in front of her chest. This was insane, the Dreamer concluded. He held the other female steady, and Mati wondered strongly what was this coyote's problem truly was. For this was not how she would deal with a visitor, since Mati was not a trespasser. Silas had said that it would be okay for her to visit, Calm down, Silas invited me. Mati retaliated to the female's response, her voice giving way to her inner insecurity and confusion even if the words did not. She wouldn't have trespassed this far into any lands without an escort, and she had thought that Silas at her side was enough to prove that she meant no harm.
