It hadn’t always been easy. And it hadn’t always been love. She had known Cambria when she was just a pup, Mati had been there the day she had been born. Of course she had loved her in the way she did all her pack-mates, and their relationship had grown as Mati watched over as a pup and then turned into a friendship as Cambi grew older. Even when it was love, she had yet to realize it and when the notion became apparent to the other female, and when Mati was shown that there was something more then just friendliness there the Church fey hadn’t been able to understand it. But it was because such a thing was a loss of control, it was falling into fate’s hands and letting go of her heart.
Mati only nodded to his response. If he knew her he would understand how incapable she was to the pull the surrounded the chocolate colored woman, how impossible it was to not find her more beautiful then anything else their eyes could hold. His question was unexpected and forward but easy to answer and so Mati did, Yes. She was. There was no hurt, no heart-felt pain when in Cambria’s presence. But, It was always the way it is now, Easy and wonderful we stumbled to where we are. There was a lot of confusion, as you can imagine. Violet eyes looked at him as she said the words, a half smile on her face.
