It was quiet in the manor. The Dreamers were out and about, enjoying the sunshine or otherwise recuperating from the shocking disaster that had precipitated with the collapse of the old barn. Coli hadn't made it out there in time, but rather was found later out cold on the kitchen floor, lying in a damp puddle with only a hazy recollection of what she had been trying to accomplish. She had learned that two of her packmates, Cambria and Ghita, had been rather seriously injured, but no one had died... That was a relief. Coli herself had visited that barn in the winter, she along with Flayra... What if it had collapsed on them instead?

She sighed, gingerly touching the matted bruise at the back of her skull. They had advised her not to shift for a few days, to avoid moving around, basically to lay low until they were certain it was not a fracture or a concussion. But this meant staying in the manor, when she was no longer staying in Anu's room... She had peeked in occasionally when she was sure Anu was out, because the haven was still a comfort to her. But she never stayed long. She curled her legs up onto the old couch in the sitting room, resting her chin atop her knees. Another screw-up, another mistake that forced more distance between them. She was certain that she had meant to help Cambria and Mati, with the intention of showing Anu that she could be useful...
