Haha, that was an awesome post.

Both straw colored eyes shot open, taking in the watery underworld she had tossed herself into. There wasn’t much to see and the water instantly burned her eyes, so the young coyote swam blindly while all four limbs worked wildly to propel her. And then, her head broke through the surface of the water, and Clover refilled her lungs starved for oxygen. It was not in Mother Earth’s intentions to steal her away from the world just yet, and in fact, the girl had not been worried in the least bit. She and the others of Juniper Peace had been swimming countless times before, and Clover had been taught not to fight against the rip tides. With that knowledge in mind, she felt relatively confident wandering into the ocean. However, she hadn’t quite expected the water to be that cold.

She paddled towards shore, though her eyes were useless to her for now. Though she blinked to fight and see her possessions along the beach, the salt water had burned and rendered her useless for the moment. Swimming blindly, it was only moments before the coyote girl’s clawed feet were planted relatively firmly on the ocean’s gravely floor. She pushed her way out of the lulling waves, soaked fur clinging to her body and accentuating her excessively thin frame. With both hands she rubbed at her eyes, trying her best to clear away the sting so that she might see again. Upon blinking both golden orbs, she discovered that her possessions were now in the company of someone else – someone who seemed rather keen of Clover’s guitar. Wringing the water from her golden walnut locks, Clover advanced up the shoreline, coming to rest only a few feet away from the coyote who had decided to create some music with her guitar. It sounded nothing like the tunes she had often heard those of Juniper Peace play, and a wry smile formed along her features. "You need some lessons, love."
