Clover had settled onto the shore, though not sitting on her own tapestry spread under Enkiel like a blanket. She had fallen to her knees, before settling back and sitting on her feet, one hand idly playing with strands of hair. She watched as he turned his gaze onto her, finding herself captivated by the deep ruby eyes that stared back. She had only ever seen eyes like this once before; a woman named Jezebel, whom Clover had encountered not far from here. The young coyote wasn’t aware that these eyes were a trait of many of those with the same surname.

He settled the guitar onto the ground and Clover’s golden gaze traveled over it as if expecting to find something different or out of place. But then, his words made Clover look up once more. "How do you know," confusion plain on her features, before a glimmer of interest alighted them. Eyeing him, Clover made to stand, moving over to sit not far from him on her blanket of purple. Fingers traveling to her pile of possessions, Clover began to put on her jewelry, sliding bracelets onto her wrists and rings onto her thin fingers. "You’re one too, huh, love?" Though it was a question, Clover was sure she already knew the answer.
