Anann had never seen the ocean up close and personal. Anatoliy decided he ought to fix it completely and show her that there was definitely more to it than just the legends of sea monsters and tragic deaths. So, he finished untangling the only fishing line he had filched from the city during his stay there. There would have been more line to use, but he figured he would not fish as much here as he would have at home. In Nova Scotia, there was plenty of land animals to pick out, especially since there was plenty of land surrounding their small town of Lunenburg. It was woody and there would be plenty of small animals all around. But fishing was part of his blood so that was what he would do and knock out two birds with one stone by taking Anann with him.
Which was why he showed up with his fishing pole and his line all untangled. They would need to find some bait, but that couldn't be hard with the way the rains were coming. Worms would be plentiful in all the mud around. It would be fine, surely. The new house was lovely, if he did say so himself. He had helped to make it so he was definitely proud of himself. It was pretty early in the day, but the woman seemed like she would be up early to work on things. "Anann. If you are not avake now, you better get avake. Ve're going to the sea."
