God he's so creepy. XDD

To say she was shocked at the revalation that there was someone else on the beach would have been an understatement. Yet this other pressence brought with it a sense of fear that overshadowed any initial shock the white girl had. The wind itself seemed to vanish with the male's arrival, and his hushed voice sent a chill of terror and disgust down Bris' spine. The Dahlian had been too lost in her grief to have noticed the feel of the hybrid approaching, and when he announced his pressence, his voice was deathly close. Bris shivered as she suddenly snapped her head around, swiveling to confirm with her eyes what she already knew.

The blood red eyes that met her stare were unmistakable, and the girl swallowed uneasily as she found herself momentarily unable to move. Gone was the anger she'd shown at the Inferni border, when she'd tried to charge past the mounted guard and seek out Kol's killer in order to take revenge. Gone was the brazen foolishness of that day, replaced only with an absolute sense of getting in well over her head. Her mind flashed back to her last day on this beach, her sister's voice echoing in her ears. "Bris, RUN!! GET OUT OF HERE!!" Even now, the yearling's legs were screaming at her to do the same, but she couldn't move. There was something about her sister's killer that held her there, something more than the stare of a simple murderer. And whatever it was that lurked in the depths of those crimson eyes terrified the Dahlian.

Bris' stomach tied itself into a knot as the male's words hissed over her ears. His darling little pet name made the girl sick to her stomach, and as the initial shock of his pressence sank in, Bris forced herself to swallow her heart back into her chest. A low growl rumbled in her chest as she remained where she'd sat, her mismatched eyes flashing in fury as she tried to hide her fear. Absently it occured to her that she didn't even know the killer's name. Bris could still taste the salt of his blood as she'd distracted him in the water that fateful day, and there had been more important things than learning the bastard's name at the time. The Stormbringer's lip began to curl into a disgusted snarl as she forced her fear farther and farther down. "Did you come for another gay little frolic in the water?" Bris had no idea the male had been following her, stalking her the entire morning. The knowledge may just have been that extra little push to make her stomach betray her. No other words came to her lips as she simply stared back at her sister's killer, her heart warring between terror and rage, her growl still rumbling softly in her chest. She could only hope that if he had murderous intentions again, someone would be near enough to hear her cries for help. Bris wasn't clouded enough by grief anymore to think she could stand a chance against the monster.
