The boy had gotten bigger in the passing months though he was still small in comparison to other males. His body was a dainty little thing. But then he had always been something of a runt. And also because he had never trained extensively for the warrior role so he didn't have that sort of musculature. No, he was just a longer, slimmer, and maybe slight bit taller version of himself from a few months ago. He figured that he was finally growing into the form that he knew of as belonging to him. Maybe now others wouldn't continue to confuse him for a boy. Perhaps now they would finally see him as the girl that he was. That would certainly be nice.

With his age he had started to travel farther. This allowed him to get out and find where his friend was. It had been months since he had seen her. But now the snow was gone and travel was made easier with the day stay brighter longer. That meant he could head to where his friend lived. He hoped the one with the pretty paws remembered him at least. He didn't realize how far his friend how come in the water until he was making the trip to see her in the summer. He hoped that she hadn't gotten in trouble going that far and spending the day with him. But then again he hadn't asked his mommy if he could go see Rio either. So if she had gotten in trouble then he would make up for it with this trip.

Rio's home didn't have the fence around it so he wasn't too sure of the boundaries of it. His head tilted a bit as he stared into the lands. "Rio!? Are you home!?" Right, like the other would be able to hear that. Still it was worth a shot. Especially since Lotus had taken to pacing that invisible line where he had first caught the scent that he recognized as marking his friend to belonging to this place.
