Eyes shot to the side, large eared head moving with them to follow the trio that buzzed past him. Heath chased them, hoping to help and if not to merely attempting to ease his curiosity. For he didn't recognize her, or her scent. The coy-wolf made his way quickly, but with the commotion that he heard in front of him he slowed. So much for helping. He figured the other, who was certainly female by the smell of her, was likely experienced and needed no ones help to take the deer to the ground. Heath understood his limits, and knew that he wouldn't attempt to take a full grown deer down himself, unless it was ill of injured. His coyote-like body make it difficult for him to weigh down anything bigger then a fawn.
He crept towards the pair, the scent of blood enter the air and the screams of mercy and the last agonizing breaths escaping into it as well. Cocking his head as he watched the small wolfess on the doe Heath found that she was younger then he expected, unlikely a yearling yet. He cleared his throat, wondering if she had noticed him, and partially glad that he had not interrupted her chase. "Nice catch." He commented, head nodding towards the obvious carcass he spoke of.
