There was nothing innocent about him, but obviously he still knew how to pretend to possess even a shred of peace within him. War raged mercilessly on within the devilish creature, but the surface remained calm, though black and dangerous like the monster lurking beneath.
That was it, then. Muscles contracted and he lunged for her, claws and teeth ready to dig into her flesh, though he did not intend to mortally wound. No, he would not destroy the body. It was her mind and soul that he wanted to tear apart. His grin no longer disguised his decaying set of jaws, and there was madness within his burning blue eyes.
