It had only been a few days earlier than Ghita had began tottering around without her brace attached to her leg. Now, the damaged knee was exposed for all to see, unable to hide behind the safety of the wooden contraption. Still, her large wooden walking stick remained a constant companion to the fae, causing a solid 'thunk' of wood to echo wherever she wished to walk. Shifting still remained a painful prospect where before it seemed a fluid movement between two bodies. Seeing as the bones had to shift and elongate as she shifted forms, the fractured bone protested loudly whenever the process was attempted.
So Ghita remained an Optime, supporting her leg and broken frame on two legs, using the walking stick to maneuver. And it was now that she hobbled around from her room, expertly clambering over the stairs to reach the common area of the manor with ease. Her intent was to head out the door nearby and explore the territories around Crimson Dreams, perhaps aid in a border patrol once more, but her senses quickly sought out different plans.
Anu's scent wafted through the small manor, along with the heavy milk-scent of newborn puppies coated with the standard Crimson Dreams fare. A smile growing across her face now, Ghita flicked her studded ears, locating the newest offspring with honed senses. Once she reached the common area, the fae tapped her walking stick on the floor twice, softly, to announce her arrival. Turquoise optics sparkling with warmth, the mother smiled, recognizing the all-too-familiar picture of new mother and fresh, new lives darting around her. "Anu, it's good to see you. How do you feel?" Remembering all too well the exhaustion that had gripped her after giving birth to Sophia and Aro, she inquired with concern hinting in her tone.
