Such a thing would always take time, and such an idea was one that could be thought upon by the mated pair. It was not meant to make Ghita nervous, Anu had not assumed that she was thinking of more puppies but simply wondered if she had. The Lt. General remained calm, not fighting to ease the other female’s nervousness or tension with her own. It was best to allow the feelings that rolled through the others mind to fade smoothly and naturally until they left her.

Her words were filled with that doubt. Anu could understand how it felt to not know what the future would bring. She had been unsure how this pregnancy would end. It was her very first, a mistake she had made and if Savina had not told her Anu would have known until she felt them kick inside her. But it was faith in herself, faith in the world around her that she believed in. The world she lived in was one filled with love, support and even though she had her own weaknesses life had showed her that her strengths could outweigh them.

Time will restore your strength, and faith will not be far. Anu looked at the female, her body would return to it’s rightful power and so would Ghita’s hope and faith in herself. Growling made her ear turn, head following after a single second. Though he was larger the mother found Alder on his back, the darker Cypress straddling his submissive postured body.

The Dreamer’s face changed, becoming stern. Without a word she jumped form the porch, her nose pushing between the two boys and eyeing the dominate brother with a silent glare. Then, once the lesson had been taught she blew warm air into the puppies face and plucked Alder off the grass and brought him to sit with the females on the porch. He wiggled beside Ghita, blue eyes staring up at her with a curious gaze. Tentatively he sat beside her, eyes not leaving her face in the hopes that she would accept his request to stay beside her.
