Hello! :] wc:358

Lucia had had the tendency to drift, ghost-like, through the Phoenix Valley pack lands for the last couple of weeks, managing to avoid contact with the majority of her pack mates during this time. It was only within recent days that she had begun to linger around her family again, spending time with her sister a few days ago. She had finally seemed to move past all of the doubts and dark thoughts that forced her into isolation in the first place, replacing it now with a nearly constant bitter view of the world. But there were times when the empty cabin would remind her of her mother and she would leave in a huff, eager to move wraith-like through the lands to clear her dour thoughts.

So it was almost fitting that the girl wound up sauntering through the graveyard, slipping silently through the fog as she eyed the old tombstones. She had never wandered up to this part of the lands before, and the way the fog hovered over the withering plants like death itself sent a chill upon her, despite how it seemed match her foul mood. She paused in front of one of the stones, shaped like a cross, jade eyes catching the contrast of pale bone lingering near the surface of dark soil. She crouched in front of it and pawed at the soil with one hand, trying to finish the job of digging that some scavenger had obviously long forgotten about. Within a moment she had successfully pulled out a long, dirty bone, shaking loose a few clumps of dirt before examining it with a morbid curiosity. An arm, perhaps?

The sound of footsteps from farther in the fog jarred her from her silent study, head jerking up to scan the horizon, ears perked and ready to pick up any stray sounds. A muted voice carried on with the footsteps to the right and Lucia stood, facing that direction as a figure appeared through the fog. She kept her gaze locked on the figure as it walked along the path of tombstones, nearly forgetting the old bone she still had in hand.
