Cotl had been doing what was now tradition to him. Wake up, check hunting traps, (his own and Halo's now, and resetting both his own and Halo's tripped empty ones, and the ones who had prey would be picked up and taken back to the mansion later on when he made his way back) and then ride out around the borders until he made it either half way around or at least back to the mansion, and then maybe he'd stop at the mansion and then go back out and ride the rest of the borders of just do the whole thing in one sweep. Whichever one. Today, he had been in the beginning of his ride, and the sun had barely been up and the male had been out there in the early morning, just riding and collecting the corpses of the assorted animals that would get themselves caught in the traps. He'd been catching more prey than in the winter, so he had food to go around to his brother, himself, and even Halo and Itachi, but of course, the catches that would go to the woman would more than likely either be from her traps, or Cotl would just give her whatever he had extra of so she wouldn't let her child and herself go hungry. He was just a nice guy like that he would assume until he thought about it again and thought that he didn't want to be a nice guy like this place was making him. He tried being only nice to Infernians, but he also was kind to Aniwayans as well. Next, you'd think that he'd befriend some of the Dahlia wolves or some stupid shit like that. It made a frown adorn his handsome hybrid muzzle. He grunted lightly.
Maschine trotted along, Cotl armed with his sword on his back as he rode the stallion along the borders that were lines with the skulls that he placed there, or at least replaced since the border moving. Cotl snorted, he remembered when the Dahlian bastards came and destroyed a few of the pikes in which Cotl had to first, pull down branches tall enough and the two, find skulls to replace. Others helped with the killing of the wolves and the retrieval of the skulls while Cotl would either skin them or just put them on the pike and paint them if he felt the need to. But in the end it was his own hard work with some help from the others and the older skulls that had been there that had made the borders and warned wolves to stay away. Cotl was rather proud of the borders since he had to constantly work on it. He looked to some misplaced skulls and moved them towards the outside of the borders to the eyes would be looking at the intruders before he had seen an orange being off in a distance. His own ebon tipped shackles raised against the sword sheath as he had jabbed Maschine in the side. The stallion would take off under the male, and they took off full speed towards the male who was just....sitting outside of the borders.
It wouldn't take more than a minute and a half for him to pull the stallion to a stop in front of the being. The first thing he would have noticed was the huge scar right at the base of his throat, and then the ruby eyes and then the scar that was over that eye. The rust and coal hued beast would point his coal nose to the other male. He smelt of no pack, but he did have a vaguely familiar scent on him. Cotl's neck twitched to the right as his eyes sat upon the male and Cotl cleared his throat roughly before speaking. Cotl noticed that the male was a yote hybrid, since his muzzle had been more square, and he had a almost dingo-ish look to him that Cotl was a prime example of. Kid, dis isn't ein place to rest. Vhat ist your business vith Inferni? he asked, a frown still on his face that would match the other male's. Little did he know, that the frown that was on the other's face was identical to the one he held on his face. Little did he know that this child here...This child was his own flesh and blood. His own offspring that he didn't know that he had. He was just another pretty face for Inferni for now. Cotl knew nothing of this stranger.
