He had been accepted and found by his father. They looked nothing alike. At least that is what Izaak thought. Marik looked more dog while Izaak was clear coyote. Yet this was the one his mother had spoken of. And what's more was that he knew just where to find Unky Cotl. Actually he was living with Unky Cotl. And that was just where he had taken the boy. Led him up to this large house. All Izaak could do would be to stare in amazement. He had never seen anything so large. With his mother they were all staying in a one room shack. Nothing at all like this. Here it didn't look like he would have to worry about rain. Not the way it was with his mother. No curling up in corners to avoid the forming puddles of nasty weather. Of course Izaak felt no ill will towards his mother. She was his mom and he loved her. He had never known anything else so he had nothing to compare to until now. The only company he ever had were his mother and siblings, along with the occasional older brother or sister that would stop by for a night but never stay. He was never sure what happened to them but they had to be family for Mommy to tell them that she loved them.

The boy was taken upstairs and down to the end of the hall where the room was. There were so many interesting things hidden behind a single door. More things than he had ever seen. Not that such was hard to believe since his home held only bodies and no possessions. The only thing that the boy had to his name was his brother's tail which was currently tied to his own. That adornment had already earned him a strange look from his father. But nothing had been made mention of it. Which was probably a good thing since the explanation wouldn't have been understood anyways. Izaak just wasn't good at explaining things. Not when he figured everyone had the same inside knowledge that he did.

The child was left in the room while Marik made mention of something about going to find Cotl. At least that is what Izaak figured he was doing when he left the room and closed the door behind him. The coydog moved around the room, looking at one trinket after another. It was clear to tell what he touched since it wasn't put back into the place that he first found it. No, he just dropped it as soon as he found something else of interest. He'd just better hope that Cotl isn't anal about having everything in the proper place not since he was on the verge of having a whole room to clean with Izaak's explorations.

His uncle was lucky that he was spared from having a completely trashed room by a yawn working its way out of Izaak's mouth. That and noticing the doll on the bed. With another yawn Izaak pulled himself up on the bed and curled his body beneath the flag that was on it. Arms encircled the small doll and held it close. Silver eyes slipped shut as face pressed itself into the pillow. It didn't take long before the boy was out. After all the trip from Germany to Canada was quite a long one.
