Izaak could put on a fairly good display of looking sorry and helpless. But sometimes there was just no thwarting any harm that was to come. That was why Izaak was alert for any subtle shifts that signaled it was time to run. While the boy might not be the brightest around he could pretty much predict his chances of getting to the door and getting out. Unfortunately he wasn't in a very good position. But it was lucky for him that his sudden moment of recluse put out the fuse. He still got the look that said not to bother asking again but it didn't seem as if his uncle would end up striking out either. Because of that he felt it safe enough to relax a bit and slowly lift his head.

Again his uncle had him confused. He glanced between the tail that he had just taken off and to his own tail. "Es tut nicht weh. Aber es fühlt sich seltsam." The child responded, figuring it was the bald ring around his own tail that showed just where and how long he kept the other tail tied to his own. Fingers rubbed at the bald spot for a moment before he ended up tying the tail back on. He was happy that his Unky Cotl had come to the same consensus as himself. Sascha had to be one of the most beautiful coyotes to him, scars and all, but that could also be because that was who he had spent a great deal of time with. Because of that he favored his slightly younger brother over all of the rest.

Once again Izaak was confused as both of the adults were staring at him as if he had said something strange. To him his words made sense but the way that these two interacted did not. "Er mag es nicht wie Ihr Bruder handeln. Ihr beiden nicht wie Brüder handeln." Izaak thought to try to explain. Of course this was difficult for him. He had simply thought that everyone acted and thought the same way. So well, this could pretty much be summed up as a culture shock for him even though they had all originated from the same place. "Ihr beiden nicht berühren. Lecken und berühren, nett zu sein." The boy was trying to figure out how to explain what he did with Sascha. But then it wasn't like Sascha could talk either so of course silent communication worked for them.

It seemed that it will take them some time to get used to each other. Because Izaak had no idea what he said that had been so funny. Cotl had asked for an explanation and Izaak had given him the one that he had been given. How had any of that have been funny? "Vater hat zu viele Farben." Izaak stated simply as he looked to Marik. He didn't see where he really looked like his father. Other than both of them having grey. Had that been what his mother meant? He didn't know. Plus it was too late to question it now.

Izaak made to slip over to the door so that he could get out but his Unky Cotl's words had him pausing. The coyote child gave a nod of his head. "Ich höre." But that didn't mean that he would remember and listen. Not that Cotl had asked that either, only asking if the boy had heard him and Izaak certainly had. He turned the doorknob and darted out of the room once he got the door open wide enough.
