The wolfish canine continued to gawk at him, but said nothing. Hybrid frowned as the familiar feeling of annoyance crept up on him again. Since the creature said nothing to him, Hybrid had assumed it was just another wayward Inferni member wandering by the beach. No matter; Hybrid wasn’t in the mood to entertain the newcomers so it was probably best the other canine said nothing. However, when the male looked at Hybrid and began to walk away, Hybrid found himself growling in agitation. He looked right at him! And then promptly walked away to stick his damn feet in the sand!
Hybrid shook his head, letting his low growl grow. With the wind, he doubted the other canine would be able to hear him, no matter who he was or what his intentions were. Whatever the reason, Hybrid was not impressed. He began to stalk away, more annoyed at the lack of attention than he would have expected. He supposed that he had anticipated some sort of acknowledgement, and when he failed to receive it, he felt snubbed. Well, it didn’t matter anyways – he hadn’t wanted to meet anyone or converse with them. This just gave him the opportunity to leave without a hassle, even if he still felt a little hurt.
