faites-moi oublier

Sorry for my delay and this short post. ._.

The man was quick to notice her, stopping his careful strumming and the beautiful sounds along with it. He spoke, and his words were tinted with an accent she had never heard before. It reminded her of how different her father sounded with his Italian accent, but this wasn't quite the same. Did this man come from another land? Speak another language? She never felt so curious about another person before. Jade eyes studied him for a moment before she focused all her attentions on the instrument. "A guitar," she repeated, as if saying the name aloud would solidify the object and its purpose in her mind.

Encouraged by his smile, she stepped a little closer so that she may get a better look at the guitar in his hands. "I've never seen one before," she shared as she examined the strings. "How did you do that, before? With the sounds? It was nice." Her intrigue seemed to put her in a better mood than she was usually in, pushing away the pretentious attitude that typically colored her words. Instead they were simple and light, seeming to match her petite frame. She hadn't expected to run into anyone out on her walk this morning, but she was finding herself glad that she did.
