         Her words did not surprise him the slightest. Quietly, he nodded, accepting her rejection. It was hard for him to think that she would not wish to live with them any longer, but it was as it was. She was no longer a child and she deserved the independence. He feared for her, but it was clear that she was not as fragile as she seemed. She would make her own choices. Perhaps it would help her in the long run. At least she was back in Dahlia and he would know that she was safe and alive. That was more than he could ask for. ”That sounds good,” he muttered warmly, smiling at her silvery form. Perhaps he could guess the place she meant if he had tried, but he did not. She was free. He saw the soft hint of roses under her silvery cheeks, but did not comment on it. ”Come,” Even if they would no longer share same house, they could at least pace back to the city of Wolfville together.
