Her hand moved in long strokes across the canvas, a trail of green left behind by the bristles on the paint brush. Liquid aqua eyes studied the picture for a moment before continuing down the sage line. She wore a loose fitting navy shirt and a over sized pair of jeans with a rip from her knee down to her ankles. Everything was covered in paint even her fur; a blue smudge across her white cheek and a yellow streak along her wrist.
Ever was not an artist. She wasn’t even sure why her muse had sent her into Lunenberg to find paint. Placing her hand under her chin, the silver girl gave the canvas another thoughtful look. So far, the blur of colors could not be identified as an object, but the female knew where they were headed. Before her was a willow framed by a cloudless sky and a horizon of the sea. If someone looked closely, they could distinguish her colors as those before them.
Behind Ever, was the forest where Vigilante’s house lay. She felt uncomfortable wandering so far as she couldn’t see the quaint cottage but the small clearing a good length away made her feel safe enough. A ways off, grazing in the sunlight, was Saphraine. He lifted his head as his companion shifted to a different angle. Ever looked away from the crush of hues into his eyes. The golden stallion neighed gently before lowering his sleek head down to the grass again. Thinking of him watching her made the young luperci warm with pleasure, his aura near was enough to make her feel at home wherever she was.
Dipping the brush back into the tin filled with green paint, the girl placed the tip back on the bottom of the canvas and swirled her hand to create the grassy texture she saw. The sun was hidden behind her back and acted as a light against her muse. Ever continued to stroke different shades into the foliage, wiping more unnatural color into her fur.
