She was just inside the stables, staring at the horse that she was about to train, he was a headstrong stallion, but she had been able to break him without taking away what meant most to him, and he was such a beauty that she figured she’s pair him up with another horse someday, it was a buckskin quarter horse she’d caught in one of the herds, nearest Aniwaya, he was the perfect candidate to learn what she and Nayati had planned, but she’d gotten here early to clean him up and give him attention because she knew he might not care to go on a training lesson that would probably be taxing on him. She’d already trained him, and all the other horses that weren’t used to work on the fields, the signals of moving faster slower and stopping. She’d yet to do anything more with this one, which is why he made a great candidate.
Nayati would be here soon and as she stoo staring at the beautiful black line on the horses’ back, she couldn’t help but smile at spending yet another day in the presence of the white wolf, either she was just a giddy little pup, or she was feeling something more for him, and thinking about him now just made her heart race more, but she had to take a few deep breaths in hopes he wouldn’t come right that second or she’d be feeling rather hot, and hope that he couldn’t read her mind, or even her body language, it would be rather embarrassing especially when she didn’t know exactly what she was feeling.
She stroked the horses’ nose telling herself that she needed to be concentrating on the horse and not the male who was to be helping her. He would be teaching her his way of training and she could see if she would be able to integrate what he knew with what her mother knew, or change it all together. Right now she could only wonder what the male had in mind.
