The cold is not going to stay!
Denali exclaimed in disbelief, but when he heard that there would be berries, and spring… he put them together as warmer weather because the cold weather made things wither. It made him shiver thinking more about the cold, and it made him feel that it was just getting colder. The mention of berries and eating thing that weren’t meat went over his head when the man said spring.

He repeated, perhaps Ezra hadn’t heard him, but Denali wasn’t angry or anything though the idea of actually making his own birthday sounded better, he did know when he was born. He just didn’t know… well the months really, or how long it had been. It was hard for a puppy his age to understand time itself.
