I suck. And uh. This post is kinda random. Eeeee, pack!

Lucia was surprised to find that their colourful new friend had taken it upon himself to bring along her items as well. While she felt comfortable leaving them behind for a short time, she was still relieved that she would not have to worry about them now, or take the time to go back for them later. "Thanks," she said, a slight smile painting her lips as she looked up at him.

As everyone started to get to work, the Marino girl decided to shift back to her optime form. She then went for her bag, eyes glancing around their surrounding area before she began to rummage through its contents. The girl pulled out a small pocket knife, intending to follow their lead and attempt to carve into a nearby tree. Yet when she caught sight of another item in her bag, she came up with another idea.

She pulled out a folded length of a richly purple fabric, something she had scavenged from the city with the intention of one day fashioning into a dress, should she ever learn how. Lucia managed to cut a large square from it with her knife, a rather awkward affair, but not too time consuming. She put the excess fabric and her knife back in the bag, then circled around to the opposite side of the tree that Skye and Shaw were working on. She gave herself a short running start and bounded up the side of the tree, grabbing hold of one of the lower branches and pulling herself up. She stood, and it seemed sturdy enough to hold her weight, so she reached up and tied the square of fabric onto one of the higher branches. Looking down at her new packmates, she grinned as she explained herself. "A flag. We can figure out how to make it more elaborate later, yeah?" After all, this was all one big work-in-progress of theirs, right? The would all work to improve this border marker of theirs as they went on, just as they would get into the swing of running their own little pack.
