OOC. I don't think a cerebral wound would do much for memory. XD

He was pleased to meet someone knew, and even more pleased that she was friendly rather than unpleasant. It was exciting to spend time with someone who might be able to be a esteemed colleague. The pack didn't have any other pups for him to play with, though Vigilante had promised there would be, and he was disappointed at the amount of time that he spent alone, wandering around. The chance to interact with the older female was taken eagerly.

"Nice to meet you, Kam. I am Ever." Though he heard the female's name, it didn't register in his mind as a long term memory. In fact, it didn't seem to register at all as he gawked at her and smiled brightly. She pushed her muzzle toward him, rolling onto her stomach and smiled. It brightened his features. Taking a deep breath, he noticed the scent of the giant ocean he had only seen a few days before, and the delicate smell of dew on the grass that he had crushed beneath his big puppy paws.

"You likes sittin' here? Looks borin'! But you gotsa big horsie, ya? Horsie keeps you company?" The questions rolled out of his mouth in shotgun fashion, one right after the other without a chance to answer. His tail thudded gently against the ground.
