The creature was young and impressionable which is how Izaak had been able to tempt it. It had been hungry when Izaak had found it and had offered food which is the way he had gotten the reindeer to stay around him. But the animal was still wild enough. After all it had only been with Izaak for a short time. It was more like the coyote boy had replaced its herd. Of course Izaak didn't make much of a herd but he sustained Blitzen. He brought the reindeer food and water, or to where sources could be found, just as had happened in the herd before it had gotten separated from it. It still had the instincts to bolt and run but stuck by Izaak because herds traveled together. Not that the coyote boy would be able to explain any of that. He just knew that where he went Blitzen ended up following him.

"Noes eats Blizten. He noes foods." The child had no idea that animals were hunted for food. His food had never had a face before. He didn't even know the basics of hunting. It was just another of many things that he had no idea about. The reindeer took another step closer to Izaak as Kesho moved closer, keeping a close eye on the approaching predator. Izaak had no idea what was going through his companion's mind and just slipped his arm around the caribou's neck and hugged him as he giggled. "Er will dich zu reiben. Haben Sie keine Angst. Es ist okay." He spoked to the reindeer, conversing in German as he had taken to doing with the animal. He then looked back to Kesho, holding tighter to Blitzen to keep him in place. "Yous cans touch."

He had met wolves before but he simply didn't know that is what they were. He simply assumed that they were all coyotes. There were only a few species of animals that he had been taught but for the most part he simply assumed that everything was a coyote because he had never been taught. None had the time, not that Izaak was ever sitting around and just waiting either, to teach him all of the things that he didn't know. And with the way that he was it wouldn't be doubtful if none had the patience for it either. But at least the few things that he had been taught he had at least committed to memory. Or well, on some of the lessons. After all he would still eagerly reach out to touch others even if he had been reprimanded before. It was just that his excitement got to be too much that he would temporarily forget his lesson in lieu of it.

When he was questioned he shook his head. He had never heard of the term wolf before so he had no idea what they were. It was turning out that they were just the extra fluffy coyotes that he had been seeing around. "Fluffy coyote?" His term for them was spoken slowly, he was still confused of if they were actually talking about the same thing or not. He tilted his head as he thought over what Kesho was telling him. The ones he was thinking of were bigger than him. He guessed they were strong too but he didn't know for sure. But still, the ones Kesho was describing were different from the ones he had met. "I sees fluffy coyote befores. Dey noes eats Blitzen. Dey helps looks for berries to feeds Blitzen." So far he hadn't ever had a bad encounter with a wolf so far. Well there was the one... "One fuffy coyote has bird and bird bites me. Bird eats Blitzen?" Yes, the wolf had corrected him when he had called the bird a coyote but had never corrected him when he referred to the wolf as a coyote too. So he simply assumed it was a fluffy coyote.

"But Blitzen likes follows." After all it had gotten to the point that if Blitzen saw Izaak going somewhere then it automatically trailed after the boy. Izaak didn't even have to call him anymore. "Wary?" He tilted his head to the side was he puzzled over the word. "Bees scareds? Why bees scareds?" He had never skedaddled into anyone particularly nasty. Even his own mother had her good moments. So far anyone that he had met with Blitzen in tow had never even tried to get close to the reindeer.
