Pixie couldn’t thank whatever heavenly being was watching over her enough for the existence of scent markers. Otherwise, she and Magic would be wandering through the eerie Ethereal Eclipse forest, with no idea where Skye’s pack could possibly be. It had taken the whole morning for her to come this far, and when she finally sniffed the border and halted her steed, she considered jumping off of him and kissing the ground. But she contained herself and instead quietly dismounted, slowly leading her stallion further on to the territory.
It hadn’t been that long ago when she agreed to teach Skye how to play guitar, but that wasn’t the only reason why she was visiting this new pack. The cream-furred wolfess had explained that the pack she and her friend were starting was for artists of all kinds—musicians, writers, painters, crafters…and among them, Pixie knew, a tattoo artist wouldn’t be a surprise. Yes, the pack was new, and there probably weren’t that many members, but she figured she might as well try her luck and see if she could find someone that could print the design she had drawn on a piece of paper onto her body, hopefully not in as much of a painful way as her previous tattoo.
Even if there were no tattoo artists among the ranks just yet, the blue-gray wolfess figured she and Skye could start their exchange of talents early, and Pixie could meet a few fellow artists as well. Skye had mentioned a flute player the last time they had spoken; Pixie wasn’t entirely sure what that was, but was interested in it all the same.
