She had discussed her plans with no one, the varied eyed Stormbringer being the closest thing she would call a friend here, and instead had made the journey to and from the lands her Aunt roosted in in a relative speed. She was fast on four feet, keeping nothing with her, and had taken most of her traveling during the day when others slept. Her reunion with her stallion had been....breathtaking, almost wrenching her heart the way that their first meeting had. He had been fussy since she had left, according to Alarice, and now that they were back together the trip 'home' had taken a mere four days. He had not taken to Alarice well, and she had eased him back into their longer rides slowly. By the last day though, they were positively flying!
It was Manaba first who heard the sound of the hooves dancing merrily ahead and it drew Legacy's eyes towards the sound. Curiously she slowed her proud stallion and eased herself off from his back, holding her hand on his neck as she walked at his side as they approached the mainroad only to spy a man with his horses. Silently, she watched him, unaware completely that he had once known her mother and served beneath her and the woman that Legacy had grown up knowing as her Grandmother. Theodoric was a man who had dabbled in Jaded Shadows, though she did not know him.
