Great, Just great! In his mind, he was cursing himself for not finding shelter any sooner. The signs were all there of impending rain, yet he chose to put it off figuring that enough time had been spared. Wrong. A quarter sized drop pelted him right on top of his head. His ears flattened out with frustration, a smug look concretely placed on his face. What a day.. He sighed, cheeks filling with air momentarily as he trudged on, lifting his heavy paws one by one as if they were weighted down. No sense in hurrying now, he was already drenched. Head was held low, eyes squinting in an attempt to keep the water out of his eyes but to no avail. How he hated the rain. Did he mention hated? It caused his entire mood to fall into a downward spiral. Ill, aggitated, tired. And it was because of this, that he unknowingly crossed into unknown territory. Ooops.
Ice blue gaze fell upon what appeared to be a shelter ahead. He squinted some more, as if it helped his eyes zoom in. A house, not a typical shelter for a wolf, but a shelter nonetheless. Anything to get out of this weather. His picked up the pace, trotting swiftly towards the porch of this house. He dare not go in, but a roof over his head would be a terrific comfort. Unintenionally ignoring the signs of another's packlands, he boldly continued, bounding now up the steps and onto the porch of the older home. Immediately, he shook the excess water off of his sooty pelt with a sigh and shivered just once before allowing himself to fall into a seated position. His cold stare focused beyong the porch and into the rain where his mind would begin to roam..
