She would not think about another winter, and how soon enough the snow would be here and there would be a dull ache in her bones. Another winter would pass and she would be another winter older. The Dreamer had lived her life, she had given what she could and fulfilled all her small and meek dreams. But she still not think she was ready for another winter, and instead of looking to towards the white ice and snow she remained in Fall, wishing for it to last until the end of her days. The wind found its way through the bare trees and gathered her thickening pelt and whipped her straight mane across her face and back. The chill of a winter that she could not ignore so easily as she hoped touched her skin and ran down her spine.
But a voice warmed her, its tone and femininity making her look up and become curious. The first thing that Anu noticed was not the sight of the pale figure but the scent that made her ever so curious. It was unlike the rest, and it was not one of a loner. The question did not go unanswered for long, It certainly is She replied, a smile crossing her face before she could even notice its creation. The sun was hidden, the wind bringing forth clouds that cast a shadow over them, but the chill of her bones was no longer present.
