"Growing a pack can be difficult."

Skye nodded solemnly. She couldn't even begin to tell Anu how hard she was working to make sure everyone in the pack was well and fed, as well as trying to keep the crops she's been growing from freezing over and becoming useless in the cool winter. But then again, she probably knew the struggles of keeping a pack, if she was a co-leader herself. She just hoped everything would turn out for the best, in the end.

"Have your taveled here with your family?"

Skye was snapped out of her thoughts by the question and shook her head. "No," she said. "My mother and father live in the Halcyon mountains. I traveled down here alone, and met up with another wolf named Shawchert Menue. We gathered some other loners and created a pack." She wondered, by the tone of Anu's question, if there had been families in the past that had traveled down and established a pack. She was also curious as to if her mother and father would be interested in joining her pack - although she was a little hesitant in the idea. There were dangers here, and she didn't want her mother and father, although not old, to be put in danger by the cold and the winter.
