A pack was like a garden, or so Anu had come to think. With each bit of effort that she placed into it she could see it with the growth of members or the health of her own children or the pups of others. The time that she spent in the packlands was never wasted, and it had taken her some time to understand that her presence within them was just as moving as her efforts to be to a better leader. Just being there made a difference. It wasn’t always about moving mountains, but learning a lesson from the mountain and simply being a rock.
The Dreamer gave the cream and white tinged female a nod of understanding. It was interesting to know that there were enough loners out there to form a new pack and establish a territory. She hadn’t known that there were so many lone wolves, just waiting to find a place to call home. I am glad you could find such a place. This Shawchert must be a natural born leader.
