"Thank you," Skye said, glad that the other leader was nice. She thought that she was beginning to like this Gryffindor pack very much - Pixie and Anu were both indicators of the pack's nice and laid back style, which is what Skye liked in such a place. "And he most certainly is!" she exclaimed in response to the comment about Shawchert. She was surprised when she saw how many loners he'd gathered - more than her, that is to say. He had an air of responsibility and leadership about him - he was just made to be a leader.
However, Skye heard a tone in Anu's voice that she didn't understand, and a look that she also couldn't catch. "Are the rest of the leaders?" she asked quietly. She could feel a sense of history somehow in Anu's voice, like something had happened to suggest that even if Shaw was a natural born leader, it hadn't always been that way. She didn't want any clashes to happen - although Dawali and Anu seemed very nice, they were only the leaders of two packs. Either one of the leaders now - maybe the leader of Mudbloods? - or one of the past leaders was responsibly for the memory that seemed present, and Skye wanted to be prepared for whatever it was.
