Skye smiled in learning that the rest of the leaders were proper for their spot. She supposed the lapse in Anu's voice was due to something that had happened in the past and Skye didn't know about. She shrugged mentally, not wanting to pry further into the deep and, apparently, dark history of Souls. She hadn't met many of the other leaders yet, but she hoped they'd all be like Anu - strong leaders, good and true. Like Shawchert.
"I've only met one, other than you. His name's Dawali, and he's from AniWaya," she said. "He seemed to be a strong leader, and very polite, too," she said, smiling as she remembered his apology for not bringing a gift for the creation of a new pack. She liked that he was nice, even if a gift wasn't required in the least. She was happy that he had gone to see the new pack at all; why would he need to bring a gift? The AniWayan culture seemed very different from the culture of the other packs. Then again, that was what made all packs different in their own way; AniWaya followed a more natural style, Cercatori d'Arte had art, and so on. If they were all the same...well, that would be a boring world indeed.
