There had been a buzz around the mansion, something no wolf not even the youngest of them could ignore… for now there were even younger pups in the area. How that could be Denali didn’t know he hadn’t been taught the life lesson of how one came to the world, but he knew it was exciting. The buzz of the talk about them, the excitement, happiness for the new parents. Denali almost felt left out because he hadn’t gotten to see them. He didn’t care that he wasn’t getting any attention…. Well maybe that was wrong. He did care a little bit, but he was not the only wolf and he saw things in a better light than most, so he had to find these pups. He was using his nose, which he was relying on more and more now and sniffed around until he caught the scent that he was looking for, though it wasn’t that of the pups he suspected it was that of the parents. Which one he couldn’t even be sure, but he followed the scent like a hound looking for its dinner. The door in which he found the smells was actually slightly opened and he poked his nose in, a flutter of more scents came to him, all not so very familiar to him at all, and this had to be it! He pushed his way into the room.

Puppies? Where are you hiding!!

He said as though the new puppies were able to play hide and seek and were actually playing the game with him. He knew so very little about newborns, but he’d soon find out.
